Continue along the route leading to Aguas Calientes, passing through valleys and mountains surrounded by coffee and banana plantations. Finally, let yourself be captivated by the magic of Machu Picchu, a site filled with history and wonder. It’s time to embark on a new adventure in the treasures of Cusco!
Today, we depart early for Soraypampa, making a stop in Mollepata for breakfast. We then continue to the starting point of our hike to Humantay Lake. Upon arrival, we will admire the turquoise waters and the imposing snow-capped peak. After exploring the area, we will have lunch and descend back to Soraypampa.










Starting early in the morning, we will hike through the Salkantay Pass and ascend to Salkantay Peak, where we will enjoy panoramic views of various mountains and mountain ranges. Then, we will descend to Wayracmachay for lunch, and afterward, continue to Chaullay to camp and have dinner.








On this day, we will take transportation to Lucmabamba, where we will begin our hike to Llactapata and have lunch. Afterward, we will descend towards Hidroeléctrica and continue along the railway tracks, enjoying the lush vegetation until we reach Aguas Calientes, where we will check into a hotel.







Today, after breakfast, we will ascend to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, we will have a guided tour to explore its plazas, houses, agricultural areas, pathways, and observatories. After marveling at its landscapes filled with lush vegetation and history, we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and then take the train to Ollantaytambo, followed by a bus back to Cusco.

It is a trekking experience through the Peruvian Andes that connects Cusco, Humantay Lake, Salkantay Pass, Chaullay, Hidroelectrica, Aguas Calientes, and Machu Picchu on a 4-day, 3-night itinerary.
The itinerary begins in Cusco with a visit to Humantay Lake and an overnight stay in Soraypampa. It then continues through Salkantay Pass to Chaullay, followed by Lucmabamba, Llactapata, and Hidroelectrica before reaching Aguas Calientes, and finishes with a guided visit to Machu Picchu and the return to Cusco.
The maximum altitude of the trek is approximately 4,600 meters at Salkantay Pass, the highest point and one of the most impressive moments of the route.
The difficulty level is moderate. The trek requires good physical condition, especially on the second day when the route crosses Salkantay Pass. It is recommended to be properly acclimatized in Cusco before starting the trek.
The package includes 2 nights of camping along the trekking route and 1 night at a hotel in Aguas Calientes, the town located near Machu Picchu.
Meals are included according to the program. The itinerary includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the first days, as well as breakfast and lunch on the final day before returning to Cusco.
Yes. On the fourth day, the group travels up to Machu Picchu for a guided tour of the Inca citadel, visiting its main sectors, agricultural areas, plazas, passages, and viewpoints.
The tour includes 2 nights of camping, 1 night at a hotel in Aguas Calientes, meals according to the program, a Spanish-speaking guide, and shared transportation. It does not include drinks, tips, insurance, domestic flights, or international flights.
