
Embark on a unique adventure starting from Cusco, crossing challenging valleys and Inca trails, where every step brings us closer to Choquequirao, a fortress hidden among mountains and unspoiled nature; there, we’ll explore temples, plazas, terraces, and other sites that tell the story of the Incas. This is a journey brimming with history, breathtaking landscapes, and moments you’ll never forget! Don’t miss it!
Early in the morning, we will take transportation towards Capuliyoc. Along the way, we will observe the Vilcabamba mountain range and visit Saywite. Upon arriving at Capuliyoc, we will begin our hike, which starts with a descent to Chiquisca, where we will spend the night.









Today, we will leave early and begin the descent towards Playa Rosalinas, where we will cross a bridge and then continue uphill to Santa Rosa. From there, we will proceed to Marampata, where we will rest and have lunch before heading to Choquequirao and returning for dinner.








On this day, we wake up early, and after breakfast, we head to the archaeological site of Choquequirao. There, we will explore the Main Plaza, the Inca Cemetery, the Kallankas, the Ushnu, the Terraces with llama carvings, and more. All of this is surrounded by lush vegetation and fresh air, making it the perfect place to connect with nature. After exploring the site, we will return to Marampata.







We wake up early and begin our hike down to Santa Rosa. Upon arrival, we will have lunch and take a short break. Then, we will continue to Playa Rosalinas. From this point, we will ascend to Chiquisca, where we will have dinner and spend the night.







This day, we will make our way to the Capuliyoc viewpoint, where we will hold a small ceremony to give thanks for the journey. Then, we will say goodbye to the muleteers and take our transportation back to Cusco.

It is a trekking adventure through the Peruvian Andes that starts in Cusco and follows valleys, mountains, and ancient Inca trails to reach the impressive archaeological site of Choquequirao, a hidden fortress surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and rich history.
The journey begins in Cusco with transportation to Saywite and Capuliyoc, followed by a hike to Chiquisca. The trek then continues to Marampata, includes a guided visit to the archaeological site of Choquequirao, and returns via Playa Rosalinas and Chiquisca before heading back to Capuliyoc and Cusco.
During the tour, you will visit Cusco, Saywite, Capuliyoc, Chiquisca, Playa Rosalinas, Santa Rosa, Marampata, and the archaeological site of Choquequirao, where you can explore plazas, temples, agricultural terraces, kallankas, and other remarkable Inca structures.
The trek is considered moderately challenging. The route includes demanding descents and steep ascents, especially between Chiquisca, Playa Rosalinas, Santa Rosa, and Marampata. Good physical fitness and proper acclimatization in Cusco are highly recommended before starting the trek.
The package includes 4 nights of accommodation in local family homes along the route, providing an authentic experience and a closer connection with the Andean communities near Choquequirao.
Meals are included according to the itinerary. On the first day, lunch and dinner are provided. From the second to the fourth day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included. On the fifth day, breakfast and lunch are provided.
During the guided visit to Choquequirao, you will explore the Main Plaza, the Inca Cemetery, the Kallankas, the Ushnu ceremonial platform, the famous llama terraces, and several other archaeological sectors surrounded by mountains and lush vegetation.
The tour includes 4 nights of accommodation in local family homes, meals according to the itinerary, a Spanish-speaking guide, shared transportation, and entrance tickets to the attractions visited. It does not include beverages, tips, travel insurance, or domestic and international flights.
