We begin with the Salkantay route, which will challenge you with its wild beauty, taking you through towering mountains and hidden valleys until you reach the incredible Machu Picchu citadel.

The adventure begins at approximately 4:30 am, when we will pick you up from your hotel and then travel to Mollepata (2,800 m), where you can have breakfast. From there, we will head to Challacancha, where the hike begins while we prepare the horses.
We will continue to Soraypampa (3,900 m), where our first campsite will be set up. In the afternoon, optionally, we can hike to Laguna Humantay (4,200 m), enjoying stunning views of the Humantay snow-capped peak and Salkantay. We will return to the camp to spend the night, in a unique experience that combines nature and adventure.
Optional: Before heading to Laguna Humantay, we can have lunch in Soraypampa and then visit this incredible natural site.

After a good breakfast, we will get ready to face the big challenge, as we will climb the Salkantay Pass, which stands at 4,600 m. Once at the top, this place will take our breath away because of the stunning views of the Salkantay snow-capped peak.
Then, we will descend to the Chawllay campsite (2,900 m) to rest and recharge our energy for the next day.

After an energizing breakfast, we begin the descent along the trail, enjoying the natural landscape and observing various orchids and bromeliads.
We make a stop at the towns of Wiñaypoco (2,650 m) and Granadilla (2,100 m), where we take a vehicle to Hidroeléctrica for a restorative lunch. With renewed energy, we continue our hike until we reach Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night, ready to visit Machu Picchu the next day.

Finally, the long-awaited day has arrived. We start the day with breakfast to get energized, and depending on our visit schedule, we will take the bus to Machu Picchu. Throughout the journey, a guide will accompany you, leading you to explore temples, terraces, and residences, explaining the historical and cultural significance of this incredible site.
At the end of the visit, we will return to Aguas Calientes for a lunch and say goodbye to this magical destination. In the afternoon, we take the train back to Cusco, with unforgettable memories of a unique experience.
