Lima, the capital of Peru, offers a blend of colonial and modern charm. Upon arrival, our staff will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel.
Lima (150 m)
Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a 6-hour gastronomic tour of Barranco, where you will visit local establishments and sample 15 traditional Peruvian flavors, including fruits, beverages, and dishes. During the tour, you’ll learn to prepare ceviche, lomo saltado, and pisco sour at 8 specially selected stops.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Arequipa, where transportation will take you to your accommodation.
Lima (150 m) - Arequipa (2330 m)
Today, we will explore Arequipa, starting with the Carmen Alto viewpoint, where we will enjoy stunning views of the Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu volcanoes. Next, we will visit Yanahuara to admire its sillar stone arches and the Santa Catalina Monastery, followed by an exploration of the Plaza de Armas, the Basilica Cathedral, and the Church of the Society of Jesus.
We will also visit the San Camilo Market to learn about local specialties and the Andean Sanctuary Museum to view pre-Inca artifacts, including the famous Juanita mummy.
Arequipa (2330 m)
After breakfast, our transportation will pick you up from your hotel to take you to one of the deepest canyons in the world. We will travel along the Yura highway, skirting the snow-capped peaks of Chachani and passing through Pampa Cañahuas, home to vicuñas and migratory flamingos.
We will stop at the Volcano Viewpoint, the highest point on the route at 4,950 meters above sea level, where you can admire the western mountain range and the Ampato and Hualca Hualca volcanoes. Finally, we will arrive in Chivay, where we will check into the hotel. You will have the option to relax in the thermal waters of "La Calera" for an additional cost.
Volcano Viewpoint (4950 m) - Chivay (3600 m)
We will start the day early by visiting the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, where we can observe the majestic flight of condors and admire the breathtaking views of the Colca Canyon. This unique spectacle only occurs in the early morning hours.
On our way back, we will visit the villages of Yanque, Coporaque, and Achoma, which still preserve their traditions. We will also stop in the town of Maca to explore its church and cobblestone streets.
Upon returning to Chivay, we will enjoy lunch, and after this break, we will continue our journey to Puno. Once we arrive, you will be transferred to your hotel to rest.
Cruz del Cóndor (3800 m) - Chivay (3600 m) - Puno (3850 m)
Today, we will explore Lake Titicaca and its islands, starting with the Uros Islands, where the locals use totora reeds to build their homes and boats. Here, we will learn about their lifestyle, which revolves around fishing and handicrafts.
Next, we will head to Amantaní Island, where we will walk to rural homes to enjoy a typical lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit ceremonial centers, and in the evening, we will share dinner and a folkloric dance with local families.
Puno (3850 m) - Uros Islands (3850 m) - Amantaní Island (4150 m)
Today, we will explore Lake Titicaca and its islands, beginning with the floating Uros Islands, inhabited by the Aymara people. Next, we will head to Amantaní Island, where we will enjoy a traditional lunch in rural homes.
We will visit the ceremonial centers of "Pachamama and Pachatata," offering stunning views of the Andes and the lake. Upon returning, we will share dinner and participate in a folkloric dance with Andean music.
Puno (3850 m) – Uros Islands (3850 m) – Amantaní (4150 m)
After enjoying breakfast with local families on Amantaní Island, we will head to Taquile Island, renowned for its traditional weavers. Upon arrival, we will walk for 45 minutes to the main square, where locals maintain a communal way of life.
On Taquile, we will learn about their deep-rooted culture while enjoying a typical lunch. At the end of the visit, we will return by boat to Puno, concluding our exploration of Lake Titicaca.
Amantaní Island (4150 m) - Taquile Island (4050 m) - Puno (3850 m)
Today, we will depart for the city of Cusco. Along the way, we will stop in the town of Pucará, famous for its "Toritos de Pucará" handicrafts. We will continue our journey across the Collao Plateau and over the La Raya Pass, where we can admire the breathtaking landscapes and the unique highland wildlife.
Next, we will visit the archaeological site of Raqchi, an ancient pre-Hispanic religious complex. We will then stop in Andahuaylillas to explore the renowned Church of the Apostle Saint Peter, known as the "Sistine Chapel of America." Finally, we will arrive in Cusco and transfer to your hotel.
Puno (3850 m) - La Raya Pass (4350 m) - Raqchi (3500 m) - Cusco (3330 m)
In the morning, we will have free time.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Cusco Cathedral, renowned for its intricate decorations, and Qoricancha, the central site for sun worship ceremonies.
We will then head to the outskirts of the city to explore the archaeological sites of Tambomachay, Q'enqo, Puca Pucará, and Sacsayhuamán, famous for its impressive stone structures. At the end of the day, we will return to Cusco.
Cusco (3330 m) – Sacsayhuamán (3700 m) - Cusco
We will head to the Sacred Valley, starting with a visit to the archaeological site of Chinchero, where we will also enjoy pachamanca, a traditional dish cooked underground with native ingredients. Next, we will travel to Moray, an Inca agricultural laboratory.
Afterward, we will visit Maras to see the salt mines, which date back to pre-Inca times and are still in use today. We will end the day in Ollantaytambo, a town that preserves its Inca essence, where we will spend the night.
Cusco (3300 m) - Chinchero (3850 m) - Moray (3500 m) - Maras Salt Mines (3300 m) - Ollantaytambo (2800 m)
After breakfast, we will board the bus to Machu Picchu for a 2-hour guided tour, exploring its main areas and learning about Inca culture. You will also have free time to continue exploring the site or hike Huayna Picchu Mountain, which offers breathtaking views.
On the way back to Aguas Calientes, we will take the train to Ollantaytambo, where a bus will transfer us to Cusco, and you will be taken to your hotel.

In the morning, we will visit the Chocolate Museum in Cusco, where you will learn about its history and production process and even make your own chocolates. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the city at your own pace.
