This complex is one of the oldest Inca temples and is located in the Andes Mountain range in the Cusco region. It is built on top of one of the steepest mountains, and the hiking experience will immerse you in an area that most travelers don't usually visit.

Very early in the morning, our transportation will pick us up from the hotel and drive us to Waqrapukara, known for its impressive landscapes and less-crowded tourist visits.
After approximately 2.5 hours, we will stop for breakfast in the village of Pomacanchi and then continue to the final destination. We will enjoy the landscapes and cliffs for another hour before reaching the starting point of the hike.
The ascent to the fortress takes about 2.5 hours, during which we will witness beautiful landscapes and a variety of Andean flora and fauna from the area.
Upon arrival at the archaeological complex, after a brief rest, we will have enough time to visit and learn more about this mystical and religious site, starting with its main plaza, terraces, towers, and more.
We will enjoy our picnic lunch before descending, where our transportation will be waiting to take us back to Cusco.
