We will start the day exploring the Sacred Valley of the Incas, beginning with the Pisac citadel, an important Inca checkpoint. There, we will see terraces, fountains, observatories, and more.
Next, we will visit the traditional Pisac market to learn about local customs, gastronomy, and handicrafts. Then, we will head to Urubamba for lunch before continuing to the Ollantaytambo fortress, famous for its monoliths and the fortress atop the hill.
We will finish the tour in Chinchero, where we will see the Inca urban layout, the palace of Tupac Yupanqui, and the colonial church. Chinchero is also known as the "Land of the Rainbow" and is famous for its impressive zigzag terraces.
