After landing on Peruvian soil, a private vehicle will be waiting to take you to your hotel located in the Miraflores district - Lima, a very touristic and safe district by the sea where you can take the time to visit various restaurants with the best Peruvian cuisine. You also have the option to visit its beautiful parks, museums, and capture stunning photos.
Departure by bus at 5:00 AM towards Paracas via the Pan-American Highway South along the Pacific coast. Upon arrival, we will head to the Paracas Bay, where we will take a boat for the excursion to the Ballestas Islands. There, you will be able to observe sea lions, pelicans, penguins, and other seabirds. Along the way, you will see "The Candelabra," a figure etched on the side of a hill, a geoglyph of rocky formation eroded by wind and sea. After finishing the tour, we will continue our journey to Ica and head to the oasis of the "La Huacachina" lagoon. There, we have planned to ride a dune buggy to cross the giant sand dunes, and from the top, we will take our boards for sandboarding on the dunes. Return at 9:00 PM.
The day begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Miraflores - Lima and private transportation to the airport. We will then board a flight to Cusco, arriving in the Inca city on the first day. We will be waiting with a private vehicle to pick you up from Cusco airport and take you to your hotel located in the city. This day, we will take the opportunity to acclimatize and/or visit some places near the main square.
Este día comenzamos a explorar el Valle Sagrado de los Incas, a orillas del río Vilcanota.
Recojo desde su hotel y partimos en bus rumbo al Valle Sagrado de los Incas, allí visitaremos la ciudadela inca de Pisac y su hermoso mercado tradicional, luego llegaremos a la imponente fortaleza de Ollantaytambo.
Finalmente, nos dirigiremos a la estación de trenes para tomar el tren turístico rumbo al pueblo de Aguas Calientes.
This day we will visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World, the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. In the morning, we will take the tourist bus to the entrance gate of the citadel and then begin the guided tour through its main archaeological sites, such as its neighborhoods, plazas, houses, agricultural areas, pathways, observatories, and terraces, with explanations about their functionality. After the guided tour, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to take the train to Poroy. Upon arrival, we will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in the city of Cusco.
Very early in the morning, we will head towards the beautiful Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca.
On the way, we will stop for a buffet breakfast, then continue to the access control and start our hike, reaching an altitude of about 5020 meters. At the top, our guide will provide explanations about the geological formation, and we will have time to take the best photos with the spectacular views that nature will offer us. For the more adventurous, we will descend via a path known as the Red Valley, characterized by its reddish geological features, and finally return to the city of Cusco.
Depending on the time of your scheduled flight, you will have the opportunity to take a last stroll through the historic center of Cusco or enjoy shopping for souvenirs for your family back home. Our transportation will take you to the airport to board your domestic flight to the city of Lima. Upon arrival, you will board your international connecting flight to your next destination or country of origin.
