Discover the Sillar Route, a journey filled with history and tradition. We will begin at the plaza in the Cayma district, an ideal spot for photos in front of the local church. Then, we’ll head to the Añashuayco quarry, where you can see stonemasons extracting sillar and learn about the stone's production process, all while admiring the magnificent carvings of the Church of the Society of Jesus.
Next, we’ll head to the Culebrillas Gorge, just 20 minutes from Añashuayco, where we’ll embark on a hike through a canyon surrounded by towering walls up to 20 meters high. At the end, you'll discover ancient petroglyphs from the Wari culture, dating back over a thousand years.
