From the middle coast to one of the seven wonders of the world: Machupicchu, this trip combines the must-see places to be an expert in Peru.
The trip starts on the coast with the arrival to the capital of Peru: Lima, the visit of the Ballestas Islands, the oasis of Huacachina, and of course we will visit Nazca and its mysterious lines.
The next stage will continue visiting the mythical city of Arequipa and the Colca Canyon, before venturing to Lake Titicaca in Puno. We will give you the unique experience of spending a night with the inhabitants of Amantani and have the opportunity to talk about their culture and traditions.
Finally, the trip will end with the unmissable region of Cusco and the most remarkable sites of the Inca culture. Among these, you will discover the majestic citadel of Machupicchu, still shrouded in wonder and mystery.
Upon arrival in Lima we will be waiting for you with a private transportation to take you to your hotel located in the district of Miraflores, a very touristic and safe place, also has a very good location in front of the sea.
This day we will have free and we can take advantage and taste the Peruvian gastronomic diversity in the most important restaurant of the country located in the area, in addition to its wonderful parks with an incredible view of the Pacific Ocean.
Once you arrive in Lima we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel located in Miraflores, then at 14:00 hrs we will pick you up for a city tour of the city. Panoramic visit of the colonial and modern part of the city. In the historic center we will make a panoramic tour of the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Government Palace and the museum of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru transporting you to the past just by stepping on one of its steps. We will visit the Convent of Santo Francisco and its catacombs; one of the most important convents of the seventeenth century and learn about its history. Finally, we arrive at the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, two of the most beautiful and exclusive neighborhoods of the capital.
Departure by bus 5:00am to Paracas by the Panamerican Highway south along the Pacific coast. Upon arrival we will transfer to the bay of Paracas, where we will take a boat for the excursion to the Ballestas Islands, where you will be able to observe sailors, pelicans, penguins and other seabirds. On the way we will see a figure of El Candelabro, engraved on the side of a hill, is a geoglyph of rock formation eroded by the wind and the sea. At the end we continue with the trip to Ica and head to the oasis of the lagoon "La Huacachina", there we have scheduled to get on a sand car to cross the giant dunes and from the top we will take our boards for sandboarding in the dunes. Return 21:00 hrs
We will go to the Aerodrome to watch the video and explanation of the overflight, we will start the overflight to the Nasca Lines, where we will observe the famous 12 hieroglyphs known as: The Whale, The Trapezoid, The Astronaut, The Monkey, The Dog, The Hummingbird, The Spider, The Condor, The Gannet, The Parrot, The Hands and The Tree.
In coordinated hours we will transfer to the boarding to Arequipa (bus terminal 22:00)
Passengers are picked up from their different hotels and then head to the districts of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara where we will observe wonderful landscapes of the city surrounded by the volcanoes Chachani, Misti and Picchu Picchu; its beautiful countryside formed by its still preserved pre-Inca terraces and of course the Chili River. The district of Yanahuara is the next point in our tour, in the main square we have the church of 1750, baroque facade, but the highlights are the arches that frame beautiful pictures of the city and where texts have been recorded with all the philosophy of life and inspiration of the people of Arequipa. Yanahuara is also a sample of Colonial Arequipa, has picturesque narrow streets and old and old houses made of ashlar; we will return to the historic center to visit the monastery of Santa Catalina, which is a sample of four centuries of Arequipa architecture.
Our passengers will be picked up from their hotels in the center of the city of Arequipa, we begin the excursion towards the northeast of this, to reach Pampa Cañahuas (National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas) habitat of beautiful South American camelids such as vicuñas and guanacos. In the Bofedales de Tojra we can appreciate a variety of migratory birds, including flamingos, Andean gulls, wild ducks, among others.
Continuing with our tour we arrive at the Mirador de los Volcanes, the highest area of the road at (4,800 m.a.s.l.) from where we can appreciate a great part of the Western Cordillera.
At 06:00 am after breakfast, our clients are picked up from the lodge to leave towards the Natural Viewpoint: Cruz del Condor, passing through breathtaking scenery along the canyon. During our trip we appreciate beautiful views of the Colca River, tombs dating back to pre-Columbian times, agricultural terraces over a thousand years old, among others. Our local guide will explain aspects about the different indigenous groups that inhabited and still inhabit the Colca Valley (2 pm trip approx.).
We will arrive at the Cruz del Condor viewpoint, here we will have (1h 30 min approx.) to admire the natural beauty that the canyon offers and also to observe the majestic flight of the Condors and take short walks in the surroundings.
Our transfer will visit you at your hotel at 7:00 am to transfer you to the starting point of this tour, the floating islands of the Uros are a set of artificial living surfaces built of totora, an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of Lake Titicaca. On this day we will ride on boats where we will visit 2 very important floating islands in the area, where we will learn about their textiles and how they live day to day, in addition to delight them with typical food of the area.
The tour lasts approximately 10 hours where the passenger can enjoy asking questions, taking pictures and exploring the attraction at their own discretion, making this experience an unforgettable activity.
The Sistine Chapel of America or Chapel of Andahuaylillas, The Imposing Temple of the god Wiracocha, The Majestic Paso de la Raya (Road Limit between Cusco and Puno - View of the Nevado Chimboya) and the Mythical Mythical Museum of the Pukara Culture.
This tour can start at 9:00am or 1:00pm depending on your preference. The day starts when our transfer will pick you up from your hotel and take you to visit 6 places. We will start by the "Cathedral", then we will go to the temple "Qoricancha" or also called "Temple of the Sun", both places are located meters from the main square of Cusco, however the 4 archaeological parks are about 20km away. We will start by "Sacsayhuaman", "Qenqo", "Pukapukara", and "Tambomachay" which were Inca ceremonial and resting places as well as astronomical observatories.
Very early in the morning we will leave towards the beautiful mountain of seven colors or also called Vinicunca. On the way we stop for breakfast buffet, then we continue to the access control and start the hike, until we reach over 5020 meters high. At the top our guide will give us explanations of the geological formation and we will have time to take the best pictures with the spectacular view that nature will give us. For the more intrepid, we will descend through a path called the Red Valley, characterized by its reddish colored geology and finally return to the city of Cusco.
This day we begin to explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, on the banks of the Vilcanota River.
Pick up from your hotel and depart by bus to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, there we will visit the Inca citadel of Pisac and its beautiful traditional market, then we will arrive at the imposing fortress of Ollantaytambo.
Finally we will go to the train station to take the tourist train to the town of Aguas Calientes.
This day we will visit one of the 07 Wonders of the World, the Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu, in the morning we will take the tourist bus to the gateway to the citadel and then begin the guided tour of its main archaeological sites such as its neighborhoods, squares, houses, agricultural areas, passages, observatories and platforms with explanations about its functionality. After the guided circuit we return to the town of Aguas Calientes to take the train to Poroy and upon arrival we will pick you up at your hotel in the city of Cusco.
In the morning we start the trip to the town of Mollepata, there we have breakfast. Then we continue the trip to Soraypampa, there we start the hike to the Humantay lagoon. On the way we will enjoy beautiful landscapes that surround us until we reach Soraypampa and after a while we arrive at the Humantay lagoon (4250 m), at the site we will have the necessary time to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us and also the snow-capped mountains of Salkantay and Humantay. the guide will give us a demonstration of the use of the coca leaf and a small offering to the Apus (sacred mountains), we will participate in the act. Return to Cusco.
At the airport we will wait for the international flight to travel home.
