The 5 days and 4 nights package is prepared for travelers who walk, but in favor will have 1 more day to take a calmer trip in the stretch of hours that presents us with this exceptional path to the Inca citadel, known as "The sacred sister of Machu Picchu" by the similarities it shares in the architectural construction.
Early we start with the excursion, our transportation will pick you up at the hotel in Cusco to travel towards the pampa of Anta, on this route we will make a stop to appreciate the landscape of the valley of Limatambo. Afterwards, we will move towards the town of Curahuasi, known as the "Anise Capital of the World" to visit the famous Saywite Archaeological Monolithic Monolithic (3 500 m), which contains more than 200 carved figures and our guide will be in charge of detailing the function and representation of the same.
We will follow the route towards the town of San Pedro de Cachora to then arrive at the destination of Capuliyoc, point where we will be received by our Illapa team, formed by muleteers, who will support us with the luggage and we can consume our well-deserved lunch so that just 5 minutes we arrive at the viewpoint of the place, where we can see the road we will take.
In addition, we will have a distant view of the Apurimac Canyon, with luck we can see the flight of a condor "King of the Andean sky" and on the other side of the river are present the mountains of Padreyoc (5 771 m) and Quriwayrachina (4 900 m). With the pictures of the memory, we descend for 4 hours to Chiquisca, where the local house is located, where the owner has cultivated mazasamba and sugar cane to make chicha (sweet drink). At this stop, our cook will prepare our comforting dinner and we will spend the night.

Early in Chiquisca, we wake up with a coca tea and a good breakfast to start the day's hike, as long as we apply sunscreen and mosquito repellent to protect our skin. Then, we will pass by the Rosalinas Beach (1 500 m) to cross by a hanging bridge, the great and refreshing Apurimac River, which means "The God that talks".
Later, we advance uphill through a zigzagging access to reach the hamlet of Santa Rosa (2000 m) and have a refreshing rest. In this part, it will be necessary to have a good body resistance to continue with the ascent to the hamlet of Marampata, where the house of a villager awaits us to have a hearty lunch, stay and you can also get a panoramic view of the archaeological site of Choquequirao.

On this special day we get up very early to have breakfast in Marampata and start the visit to the Choquequirao Archaeological Complex, whose name comes from the Quechua language, which means "Cradle of gold". We will have the guided explanation for each archaeological zone visited through the most beautiful parts of the place, which shows abundant vegetation and you will have the option to go down to the platforms, where the Incas represented the flames of the sun. Along with the set of stories that keeps this wonder that during the time of conflict served as the last Inca resistance to the Spanish.

This day, we wake up in Marampata with a good coca tea and have breakfast, then we get ready to start the return journey downhill by the same route we arrived, we pass by Santa Rosa, exact point to consume our substantial lunch and give a necessary respite.
We continue downhill to the Apurimac River, known on the route as Playa Rosalinas, to have a comforting lunch and finish the day ascending to Chiquisqa, house where we will have an exquisite dinner prepared by our expert cook in Peruvian food and we can spend the night.

We will start early, we will receive our coca tea and breakfast, to leave as early as possible and thus avoid the heat of the Apurimac canyon, to reach the viewpoint of Capuliyoc. Thus ends the hike and our transport awaits us to return to the city of Cusco.
